Felt pen outdoor sketches

Sometimes I take a sketchbook with me all the times and draw a lot. Then may pass by months without sketching anything. Some months ago I started a little sketchbook to do drawings outside with felt-tip pens. I am exploring different ways to use them: in colour blocks and layers, more scribbly or more reduced, finding patterns and shapes. The last one is what I most would like to achieve and what most difficult is for me. I want my drawings to be more precise, calm, balanced, elegant.
I admire the work of artist Jill Bliss.

Wish Jar

I have to tell you how much I am enjoying this e-course I am doing with the wonderful artist Stephanie Levy! So many inspiration, helpful activities and tools to realize your creative dreams! HIGHLY recommend it to anybody who has creative dreams and thinks of setting up a creative business. For me there is a long way to go to make these dreams true, but every step counts, right?

One of the activities is to do your personal Wish Jar, an idea inspired by the incredibe Keri Smith. It really feels good to get clarity and write your heart´s desires down. Then you can keep them in this sacred place where you can always reread them, edit, add new desires... which helps to get focussed and vizualize the things you wish to manifest in your life.

taking guitar lessons again

(this is me and my guitar when I was 10 years old)

On this way to bring back more creativity and art in my life it´s inevitable to reflect on what I loved to do as a child. Well, drawing and painting were always there, but also I remember that I loved to play the guitar. When I was 9 years old I started to take classes because it was my mother´s wish (well, back then I had preferred to take riding lessons). Although it was not my idea to learn the guitar, from the first lesson on I just loved it and continued taking classes once a week until I was 15. I really appreciate that my parents gave me this opportunity, not for granted having 4 children!
I continued playing for myself for some years more but then the guitar collected dust in the corner...
I have been thinking to restart playing the guitar for years and finally I signed up now for a groups class in a local cultural centre here in Madrid. It´s a mixed group of about 12 people, some of them never had a guitar in their hands and others have been playing for years. I am really curious how the teacher will arrange this class but I am sure it will be fun!
